In the Montauk and East Hampton Libraries are copies of the Special Editions of COOK FAMILY REUNION's 2004 (45 pages B&W) and 2007 (108 pages full color).

    45 pages CSC Bonn - 2004

    2004 Reunion Book includes ancestry and descendants of Theodore and Susan Cook born in Southold, NY of parents William E. Cook jr and Anna B. Wells. Ancestor William Wells (1608-1671) was prominent in development of Southold, NY and First Sheriff of New York State. Mary Dominy of East Hampton who married into the Wells line (in Southold) also an ancestor of Theodore and Susan Cook. This book also includes ancestry of (wife of Theodore) Beatrice Santacroce Cook, one of 9 Santacroce children. Beatrice bore 4 sons and 3 daughters.

    108 pages CSC Bonn - 2007

    2007 Reunion Book includes newly obtained copies of original WANTED poster's on the "1929 Postmaster's embezzlement Of Montauk Post Office funds" and subsequent Postmaster appointment by President Herbert Hoover to Theodore W. Cook April 1930 in the Montauk Fishing Village. He served for the next 35 years until retirement, and just prior to this, established the Post Office at its present location in 1962. This book primarily includes many photos (some very old) of all Cook-Wells family members, and some of Santacroce families. One hand written letter is included from 1923 (by an aunt of Theodore) which tells about the misery in her life.
